I have a passion for live music that was only heightened by moving to Austin, the live music capital of the world. I've been fortunate to have several musicians in my circle of friends, and that allows me to shoot and see new music on a fairly regular basis. I'm always up for more, where you playin'?

In March 2009 I visited Gonzales, Texas for a weekend lighting workshop. There was something wonderful and absolutely ordinary about Gonzales, like every small town in America. We could have completely overlooked it, but I’m glad we stopped, got our hands dirty and met a few people.

In July 2008 I went to Ruidoso, New Mexico for a week-long documentary workshop. A vast array of locations and shooting conditions put our skills thru the paces. Not only did we come out better photographers, we also continue to stay friends and shoot together.
